This training is designed for aspiring managers who want to build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to progress into a management role. Whether you’re a recent graduate, currently in employment, or looking to stand out for your next promotion, the course provides practical insight into what businesses look for when developing future managers.
You’ll learn how to think commercially and understand the wider business, including understanding key company financial data and business drivers, alongside exploring what makes a great manager. The training also covers the skills, behaviours and attributes expected of managers, what HR and senior leaders look for when promoting people, and practical ways you can demonstrate your potential and stand out from the crowd.
Cost: £250 per person (There will be a maximum of 10 students on the session)

Introduction to UK HR

This training is designed for anyone that wants an introduction into HR without committing to formal qualifications. Maybe you want to explore a HR career path, part of your role involves elements of HR or you are planning on opening a HR entity. This training will give you an overall feel for UK HR and explain the most important points of UK Employment Law.
It will cover critical compliance and core rights, upcoming changes you need to look out for, employee relations and workplace standards and elements of reward/payroll.
If you have a specific topic you are interested in, please discuss before the training as we may be able to include it in the session.

Managing Neurodiversity
2026 DATES: Oct: Mon 5th, Tue 13th. Nov: Tue 10th, Fri 27th. Dec: Wed 2nd.

In this training we will discuss practical ways to support colleagues by understanding a range of neurodiversity. We will explore how neurodiversity may present in the workplace and how it can affect an individual’s working experience. We will focus on practical, inclusive support that managers can put in place to help neurodivergent colleagues thrive
We will also look at neurodiversity in employment law and how this effects HR processes such as performance management.
By the end of the session you will have a thorough understanding of 3/4 different types of neurodiversity. You’ll gain practical strategies for supporting neurodivergent colleagues, alongside an understanding of your responsibilities as a manager under UK employment law, including how to consider and implement reasonable adjustments in the workplace.

Building Confidence in UK HR
2026 DATES: Oct: Mon 19th, Wed 28th. Nov: Wed 4th, Sat 28th.
2027 DATES: Jan: Thurs 14th, Sat 23rd.
This course is designed either to build on learning from “Introduction to UK HR”, for professionals looking for more practical advice post CIPD qualification, or for those who just need some additional confidence in HR.
This course is designed to go into more detail and provide some practical advice on subjects such as disciplinaries, performance management, taking minutes and working with Trade Unions.
We will not focus on the policy and procedure itself, instead, we’ll explore how ACAS Codes of Practice and employment law can be applied in real-world situations. Using case studies and practical examples, the session will focus on developing confidence in applying legal principles to everyday HR challenges.
